Many who come here say Kauai calls to them. The sheer beauty and relaxed lifestyle called to me and my family, and after many visits from our home in Boulder we now live here full time. In fact my husband’s family has quite a history on Kauai! His grandfather moved here in 1921 and became the county engineer – overseeing the building of the breakwater in Kalapaki Bay and the many charming one lane bridges on the North Shore!?
